IG: @melvineateat 7.5/10 Strong showing overall with a few misses. Sambal sweet potato leaves were well-executed — fragrant sambal, slight wok hei, still juicy and naturally sweet. White pepper crab (1.6–1.8kg) was the standout — tender, chunky meat with an insanely addictive sauce, especially with the crab roe. Kam heong lala delivered too, fragrant with plump, juicy clams. Pig trotter soup was bold and comforting, super peppery with meat and tendon falling off the bone. Downside — hotplate tofu and sweet & sour pork both disappointed. Tofu had cheap-feeling ingredients like frozen prawns and random veg, flavours didn’t come together. Sweet & sour pork was too tough and lacked flavour.

Hi Yang Ming Seafood Bishan, it was our first time having our reunion dinner at the Bishan outlet. We were very pleasantly surprised by the type of food served during our reunion dinner. It was not the usual fare, the food was delicious and the lobster dish wowed us (and this was the $698 set). My parents were also delighted. I hope you continue to serve food of high quality even during festive period such as CNY eve. Even though there were some hiccups, but I could feel your sincerity in making sure that everything goes as smoothly as it could. Thank you for this nice experience.

Food: Typical zi char food. Taste is ok but nothing especially stands out as compared to other zi char stall. Chicken soup lacks body in the taste. Service: food is served quickly. Atmosphere: located at coffee shop. Drinks from the only drink stall here is very expensive at $2 for canned drink.

Food is tasty but if you order fish head curry, you better let them know you wanted this dish to be served first. We were served after 4 to or 5 dishes later and we could not finished it and have to tabao. Dessert is free. Seafood such as crab is $130 to $200 per piece Lobster about 180 per kg.

A nice seafood restaurant at the neighbourhood Bishan. They have another 2 branches in Singapore. Lobster with chee cheong fun was superb. The sotong was a little too salty but nice. The fried beehoon was good too. I love the fried rice. Well fried to my liking. A nice place to dine with family and friends.
