Very standard local kopitiam Open air so birds and flies expected. Service standard kopitiam Roast stall no so nice. Factory mass produce taste. Dim Sum not bad Tenderfresh quite nice. Noodle, liver quite well cook.

Post dedicated solely to the roast meat stall. Ordered the char siew and siew yoke, with an extra portion of char siew for $7. And this was what I got. The char siew was thinly sliced and a little on the dry side, but the siew yoke was juicy, with a nice balance of fat and crispy skin. Be your own judge.

If you’re near J8/Bishan bus interchange and would like to avoid the crowds at the nearby Kim San Leng and S11, this is the quieter and more airy place to be. The ladies usually go for the Fei Ban Mian 非板面 (see the reviews though on the alleged attitude issues), while the rest of the lunch crowd goes for the CKT, mixed rice and noodles. The crowd at tea time gets the dim sum from Kimly Dim Sum, and black carrot cake (from Loidal Delights). The tehsi siudai is my favorite drink here. For western food at dinner time, one wouldn’t go too wrong with Tenderbest.

Perfect for western grilled food options within a hawker center environment. No need to go to upscale restaurants in the malls to enjoy western burgers and steaks. Food taste is comparable and service is good too.

So far only tried the dumpling noodle n roast pork. Dumplings are big and choke full of meat. Noodles tossed in pork lard oil that’s it’s so good. Roast pork skin is crispy and meat is soft. Overall pretty good for a neighbourhood eatery. Will try their duck and char siew next
