Avoid the local delight store. Been ordering from them for quite a while but today their attitude was really in acceptable. I had ordered 2 black carrot cake without chilli and 3 while carrot cake with chilli. The young girl taking the order looked a little unsure thus I repeated it a few times. In the end, the order was mixed up and we went back to get it exchanged. In a rage the male cook slammed the 5 packets into the bin in front of me and just shouted to the staff he will just cook a new batch. This is the first time I have seen such rage from the male cook. If this is the attitude then he should not be in f&b. We have been ordering from this stall for 4 years and to see this is a rude shock. I'm just glad we could see the cooking process. With such a temperament who knows if hidden from sight he might spit into the food. And the best part is after I came back with the replacement, the order was still wrong. I guess in a fit of anger he just slammed the chilli all into only 1 packet of white carrot cake, and the way it is done is like he forgot to add it in while frying but just slammed it towards the side. Might be a one off incident but with this experience I wouldn't be back to order anytime soon.

the short aunty wearing spectacle at the drink stall very rude and doesnt seems okay for people to take order . She will just sit at the back and when people come to order she will give that angry/annoyed look. Not trying to disturb her bowl but this is unacceptable.

Now. Thank you for listening to feedbacks. Past. Stubborn stall staff. Being a long time customer of this coffee stall, it is amazing to see how stubborn and unbecoming the staff has grown into. We all know wear and tear happens. Plastic cups like this one tends to crack and break from prolonged use and washing. So the order came with an instruction to use a glass instead, but the order came with this cracked plastic mug. Went to the stall to change for a glass, again another plastic that has an even BIGGER crack. Still indignant that their mug has cracked, they poured yet into another plastic mug. Come on! We are long time customers! One time, two times, we know the trend already! Just change all your mugs, or switch out to glass already! Dont make us skip your store entirely. Thanks for reading.

Just wanna share my experience. I was there on the night of Sep 10 around 11 plus to order an iced coffee to go. The bespectacled aunty walked out at the same time as i was about to order. She only saw me at the counter after she went into the dining area and gave me an angry look. I wasn’t happy about it but i kept quiet. I made my order which was an iced coffee with sugar to go after she so blatantly shouted for me repeat whether i want it in a cup or plastic bag. When asking her the price, she shouted it was 1.50 twice at me when im confused that an iced coffee would normally be more than that. In the end she gave me a hot coffee with sugar instead. I paid using paynow and because she was shouting, i accidentally closed the page that says i had alrd used paynow to pay. She asked for me to show that page which is impossible already so i went to my transaction history to show her. She didn’t know how to see and gave a rude hand gesture for me.to go away. I would have let it slide if it weren’t for the fact that they have a nets machine they could check from which has the receipt of my payment sticking out. Furthermore her gestures and shouting were just straight up disgustingly rude and impatient. ABOVE ALL ELSE, I WAS EVEN GIVEN THE WRONG ITEM. I would rather dine or buy my coffee at junction 8 from now on and would advice others to do so too. Worst experience i ever had. I would rated negative stars if i had a choice. NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN EVEN IF ITS THE ONLY PLACE TO EAT IN THE NIGHT.

As of 2025, the fishball noodle shop has changed hands and I used to be a regular there. I am now a regular patron of the caifan stall as well as ban mian and occasional dim sum. They're all decent.
