It’s been very long since our whole family came to Dian Xiao Er for dinner. The food was delicious and service was really good especially to special order. As we are celebrating mum’s birthday, they even surprised us with Shou Tao (longevity bun). Joining membership is worth as member price gave a lot of savings.

The food is to die for! Juicy herbal duck, crunchy fried cod fish, soup that’s slow boiled for hours to taste! Definitely gonna come back to try other dishes! Plus point: Staff are friendly, especially May Chin, she’s friendly and patient at explaining promotions and terms and conditions.

Booked for CNY eve dinner here for 1st time and will be our last time. The cny food taste horrible, either too bland(look at colour of the so called fish maw soup and veg) or overly sweet not at all appetizing. Moreover the portion doesn't justify the price, especially the fish which look so pathetic in the big plate. Also for $440 paid there's not even a little dessert for us, 1st time booked a CNY eve dinner that doesn't comes with dessert. Another thing i notice after we went home looking at their menu again, i realize No free Ang Bao given as advertised only a keychain. No more Dian Xiao Er for us, super disappointing dinner.

Food at Dian Xiao Er was good but depends on what you order. We ordered beef which was so so but we always enjoyed the duck. However, what made me post is the service from Pierce. His service will make us wanting to go back. 2 examples - first when we were ordering, he came to help even though he was cleaning the table beside us, and provided good advice. Second was when our friend dropped a chopstick, without us calling for replacement, he brought another pair of chopsticks saying he heard a dropped chopstick. This is service at another level. Good job Pierce.

Had afew a CNY set dinner from paradise group last nite, it was not good compared to their regular dishes. Today, had Dian Xiao Er’s set CNY lohei set (set C, 5 pax) for lunch. Pretty happy with the outcome as every dish turned out good. Lohei - 4/5 Not too big a portion which is ideal. Overall, it’s a good appetiser which is not too filling. Fish Maw Soup 3.5/5 Flavourful with decent amount of ingredients. Herbal Roasted Duck 4.5/5 Always nice, juicy meat with crispy skin. Golden Tangerine Pork Ribs - 4/5 Tender and flavourful. Braised Tendon & Fish Maw - 4.5/5 Very nice. Pricing Total cost : $371 Conclusion Everyone enjoyed this meal.
