A great viewpoint to enjoy some of the best views of Seoul. To get there, you need to take a public bus that drops you off at a nearby point, and from there it is about a 5-minute uphill walk to reach the tower area. The views over the city are beautiful, and it is a perfect place to see how huge and impressive Seoul really is. It is highly recommended to visit on a clear day to enjoy the best views. It is also a beautiful spot to visit at night, when the city lights create a completely different atmosphere. Definitely a recommended place to include in your Seoul itinerary.
View on GoogleN Seoul Tower (N서울타워) feels earned when you get there on foot rather than by cable car or bus. Reaching it after the Namsan Dulle-gil hike just before sunset made the arrival feel less like a tourist stop and more like the end of a route you actually worked for. The city opens up beneath you in layers, and Seoul suddenly feels both massive and contained at the same time. The viewing decks are busy, but the movement is constant rather than chaotic. People rotate in and out, taking photos, then stepping back to just watch the light shift over the skyline. The timing matters more than anything here. Arriving before sunset means you catch the transition from daylight to night, where the city starts to switch on piece by piece. What stood out most was the contrast with the walk up. You go from quiet forest paths to one of the most visible points in Seoul within a relatively short time. That shift makes the view feel more dramatic than it would on its own. It’s easy to treat N Seoul Tower as a checklist landmark, but arriving on foot changes that slightly. It becomes less about the tower itself and more about the sequence that gets you there. View on GoogleVisiting N Seoul Tower was an amazing experience and definitely one of the highlights of Seoul. The panoramic views of the city are spectacular, especially at night when Seoul lights up in every direction. The atmosphere around Namsan Mountain is beautiful, and the tower itself is a great place to take photos, enjoy the scenery, and experience one of the city's most iconic landmarks. The entire area felt clean, safe, and well organized. I especially enjoyed seeing the famous love locks and taking in the incredible skyline from above. Whether you're visiting Seoul for the first time or returning, N Seoul Tower is absolutely worth a visit.
View on GoogleN Seoul Tower sits on Namsan Mountain and is Seoul’s classic city view landmark. What a superb view, Must visit place. Surrounded by lush greenery. What’s great: The 360° observation deck gives you the full skyline, Han River, and mountains. Sunset and night views are the main draw. It has a romantic and cultural vibe with the locks of love fence, digital art installations, and cafes at the base. Easy to make it a date or family outing. Access is simple with a scenic cable car ride up, or you can take the bus or hike for a quieter route. What to know: Crowds get heavy during peak evenings and weekends. Buy tickets online to avoid lines. The observatory ticket is pricey for the size. If you’ve already done Lotte World Tower, this one feels smaller but more scenic. Verdict: A Seoul essential for first-timers. It’s less modern than Lotte, but the mountain setting plus cityscape combo makes it the most “Seoul” view you’ll get.
View on GoogleVisiting N Seoul Tower is definitely worth it, especially if it’s your first time in Seoul. The views over the city are beautiful, and it’s one of the best spots to watch the sunset. Seeing the city gradually light up as day turns into night was the highlight of our visit. We bought round-trip tickets for the cable car, but after enjoying the view, we decided to walk back down instead. The walk was pleasant and gave us a chance to enjoy Namsan Park at our own pace, so I’d recommend considering this if the weather is nice. The only downside was how crowded it was. We visited during peak hours, and there were long queues everywhere. The cable car was packed, and there are no seats, so be prepared to stand for the ride. Despite the crowds, it’s still an iconic place to visit in Seoul. My tip would be to arrive a little before sunset to enjoy both the daytime views and the city lights without feeling too rushed.
