We really enjoy the classy elegant atmosphere at Bicena, located on the 81st floor of the Signiel hotel in the Lotte world tower. The host at the entrance who has been working with the restaurant since its beginning 10 years ago, was so professional yet gentle and caring. The staff was equally stellar and the service, impeccable. The views were grandiose. The food is a modern take of the traditional Korean food. Having been to the fantastic Jungsik and Mingles, the standards were high. Bicena delivered a unique signature that is closer to the classical Korean cuisine and easy to conceptualize. It didn’t disappoint. Some of the dishes were amazing such as the sirloin, croake and dessert - persimmon popping little balls were such a pleasant surprise. Overall, the experience was fantastic and we would encourage everyone to visit Bicena.

The restaurant offers a stunning panoramic view of Seoul, making it an elegant setting for a special occasion. The service was impeccable throughout the evening—warm, attentive, and highly professional without being intrusive. Every dish was beautifully presented, showcasing refined Korean flavours with creativity and finesse. The staff also took the time to explain each course, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The combination of breathtaking views, excellent service, and thoughtfully executed cuisine made for a memorable dinner. If you’re looking for a fine dining experience in Seoul, Bicena is definitely worth a visit.

We booked the space for a private business dinner. Communication is not easy here, with several misunderstandings. Firstly we had tried to book for a single table but had our party broken into five tables which was a critical miss on part of the restaurant. Then when we arrived, late because of the massive traffic jam, the staff started by reminding us that they close at 10 instead of welcoming us and making us feel comfortable. Wine selection was also tricky as we wanted to offer more wines to our party without running up a massive tab and they seemed to lack options that could serve large groups. Overall perhaps not a place suited for large groups and better for intimate dinners. Food was not bad but nothing spectacular enough for me to come back for.

I booked this restaurant to celebrate the birthday of my boyfriend and we had an amazing experience. It was very beautiful when entering the restaurant as it was located on the 81st floor in the Lotte tower we had great views. The service was amazing, we had a happy birthday message on the menu and got the traditional birthday seaweed soup. Great service higher than my expectations. We got the Long Liberty menu and the amount of food was just right it was worth the price/quality. The quality of the food was great, the flavours were well balanced and the fish and meat were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend for special occasions!

The 81st floor commands great city views. Service was impeccable. Wine pairing was a treat, elevated the courses to greater heights. Sirloin Beef was so tender that it was served using chopsticks instead of fork and knife. Each course was simply a showcase of how traditional korean food can be creative.
