Deep Blue Lake is one of those understated, almost hidden coffee spots that leans heavily into a calm, unhurried atmosphere. The space is small and minimal, with a quiet, focused energy that makes it feel more like a personal workspace than a café. It’s not trying to impress visually — it just settles into its own rhythm, and you naturally slow down with it. What really stands out is that it’s essentially a one-man operation, and the efficiency is genuinely impressive. Orders keep moving, drinks are consistently well made, and nothing feels rushed despite the workload. The coffee itself is very solid — clean, balanced, and clearly handled with care — but the bigger takeaway is watching how smoothly everything runs with just one person behind the bar. It’s a chill place on the surface, but there’s a lot going on underneath to make it work.
View on GoogleExcellent coffee, but it gets seriously crowded. Grab a seat before ordering if you want to sit down and ask about the wait. The stairs are narrow, so it’s a bit scary carrying the coffee up or down.
View on GoogleVery well brewed coffee, smooth and lightly floral latte. A little bit squeeze but otherwise a beautiful coffee house.
View on GoogleDeep Blue Lake — their name truly reflects the service they provide. Their coffee brought me warmth and delight, in a breeze-like place that felt just like home. That doesn’t mean they’re only quiet; they’re also unique. From the entrance, their funkiness is clear, with quirky illustrations combining coffee and the Chinese zodiac. I had a wonderful time there and will definitely visit again!
View on Googlei was just walking aroundl, honestly no idea where i was, then suddenly this smell hit me. deep roasted coffee, strong but nice, like it pulls you in. i followed it and ended up at Deep Blue Lake Coffee. inside was kinda amazing, they roast their own beans right there, so the whole place smell like heaven. i was like wow, this is not just another café. korea got so many coffee shops, everywhere you turn, but this one felt different. more real, more about the coffee than the decoration. i couldn’t stop myself, had to buy a cup right away. smooth, rich, just perfect. then the staff told me if you buy a bag of beans, they give you a drink too. that felt generous even they don't speak English well, like they really want you to taste what they make. so of course i grabbed a bag, couldn’t resist. the vibe inside was chill, not crowded, just calm. i sat down with my coffee and stayed longer than i thought. it’s one of those places where time kinda disappear, you just enjoy the smell, the taste, the quiet. deep blue lake is not flashy, but it’s special. it’s the kind of hidden gem that makes you remember why coffee is more than just caffeine. it’s about the experience, the smell, the people who roast it with care. i left with beans in my bag and a smile on my face, already thinking i’ll come back.
