Amazing Korean BBQ Experience in Myeongdong! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you're looking for authentic, top-quality Korean BBQ in Seoul, Taecho Galbi in Myeongdong is an absolute must-visit! The restaurant is super conveniently located right in the heart of Myeongdong, making it the perfect spot to refuel after a day of shopping and exploring. Considering the high quality of the food, the price offers incredible value for money. We go at the lunch hour and just order the signature ’Taecho Rib’and also the brick-Cut Galbi.The beef is truly top-tier—tender, juicy, and rich in flavor. Grilling over real charcoal gives the meat an incredible smoky aroma that takes the taste to a whole new level. To top it all off, the service was fantastic. The staff cooked and managed the entire grill right at our table to perfection, so we could simply relax and enjoy every bite without stressing over overcooking the meat. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Myeongdong—I will definitely be coming back on my next trip!

Beautiful marbling and attentive staff. We were able to get a reservation and the place was packed, so we were very lucky. The beef was amazing… melt in your mouth with great flavor. Happy this is my last night in Seoul and ending my #migzatewhat tasting here. Check it out when you’re in Myeongdong!

I booked this place through Catchtable after seeing so many glowing reviews on Naver and Google Maps, and it completely lived up to the hype! My family and I had an amazing meal—the quality of the meat, especially the LA galbi ribs was top-tier. They were so tender and packed with flavor! The service was also top-notch. The staff cooked everything with such care, as if they were preparing it for themselves—she even carefully trimmed off any slightly charred edges for us. A huge shoutout to Minsoo for taking such great care of our table! (I hope I remember her name correctly!) If you're in Myeongdong, this is definitely a hidden gem amidst all the busyness. Highly recommend!

Visited Taecho Galbi at 4:30pm on a Thursday and were the second table seated. Located on the 6th floor in Myeongdong, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere with English music playing in the background. We ordered the Taecho Set, which was a good portion for 2–3 people. The beef was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the dipping sauces — flaky salt, wasabi, and a tasty garlic sauce. Service was excellent. Disposable aprons were provided, and the staff helped BBQ the meat, cooking it well done as requested. The banchan, including kimchi and perilla leaves, paired well with the meal. Thoughtful touches like dental floss and disposable mouth-rinse cups in the restroom were also appreciated. Overall, a great dining experience and worth a visit in Myeongdong.

My friends and I came to this place to eat some great Korean BBQ, and it did not disappoint. The meat was very fresh and they put on a great fire performance for us as well. Also they gave a lot of side dishes. Everything was perfect! Definitely recommend!
