I LOVE IT. By day, walk around, get your skincare, hit the Nike store, watch street performers and by night it transforms into a wonderful, busy place to try every kind of street food, get souvenirs and enjoy the vibe. Most stalls take cash as well as cards. I ate everything in sight and it was AWESOME!
View on GoogleMyeongdong is one of those places people often call a tourist trap, but honestly, I still really liked being there in the evening. It’s definitely very convenient, and the night market atmosphere is actually quite fun. There honestly weren’t too many options for vegetarians, but there were still enough things to try and explore. The area stays lively pretty late into the night, though I personally felt the vibe before 11 PM was the best. The whole place is super bustling and packed with tourists everywhere. It can definitely feel a little overwhelming at first, haha — there’s just SO much happening all around you. But at the same time, it’s fun to just walk around, shop, snack, and soak in the energy. There are also some really nice little streets and corners around Myeongdong where you can click pretty pictures.
View on GoogleThis is a really cool street to explore, especially if you enjoy shopping and discovering new places. There are many stores and shops, including a great selection of Korean cosmetics, along with fashion, accessories, and more. The area has a fun, energetic vibe, and it’s easy to spend time just walking around, browsing, and finding something interesting. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area.
View on GoogleThe energy on this street is unmatched—busy, hectic, and incredibly lively with a great mix of tourists and locals shopping and snacking along the shops. It gets especially crowded on weekends, packed with people of all ages. The street food variety is amazing, ranging from quick snacks to premium options like grilled beef skewers. While prices are slightly higher than street food spots outside of Seoul, the vibrant atmosphere makes it an unforgettable experience. Truly a must-visit for first-timers in Korea!
View on GoogleWe love Myeongdong Street Market! It’s nonstop shopping and street food everywhere you turn. From K-beauty, clothes, and skincare to tteokbokki, hotteok, and grilled skewers, you can eat your way through the whole street. Tip: Bring cash 💰 lots of small vendors and stalls are cash-only or have a minimum for card. It gets packed at night, so go earlier if you want more space to browse. Perfect spot for families, first-timers, and anyone who wants Seoul’s energy in one place.
