Absolutely delicious! 🤤 The abalone porridge was rich, creamy, and full of fresh abalone. So comforting and flavorful, and the side dishes were amazing too. A perfect meal to start the day. Would definitely come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
View on GoogleThis famous abalone porridge restaurant from Ikseon-dong has opened a new location in Myeongdong, so I had to try it! The rich and deep flavor I loved before is exactly the same here. Unlike typical porridge places, the texture is thick and silky with an incredibly savory taste. They generously add abalone innards, which gives the porridge a deep, umami-rich flavor — truly impressive from the first spoonful. The ingredients taste very fresh and clean, with absolutely no fishy smell. It’s a perfect place to bring international friends who want to try high-quality Korean comfort food. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a warm, satisfying meal in Myeongdong! 👍
View on GoogleWhat a gem! On the second floor, super reasonable price and yummy porridge ❤️ Plus, sign your name on the wall ☺️
View on GoogleLady spoke English but porridge was nothing out of the ordinary We ordered abalone, chicken & red crab. Apparently chicken was the tastiest. Abalone was quite bland Climb stairs only and toilet outside the restaurant Pay at the counter before meal Free wifi Lots of tourists while we were there
View on GoogleThis restaurant is like a real life overcooked video game. It’s funny watching the 2 guys rushing to wash the dishes and trays by hand because they only have a few sets and need to clean them before they can serve more customers. Please buy more dishes and trays so it doesn’t take 20 mins to serve the porridge that’s already cooked and just needs to be put in a bowl. The crab porridge is not worth it, no taste of crab and so little imitation crab meat. But the abalone porridge 10/10 very rich flavor and big piece of abalone. This is confusing because imitation crab is so cheap. If there is a long line it’s not worth waiting because we 2 people were served before the single person in front of us and finished eating before she even got inside. But then she sat at a table for 2 anyways.
