An absolutely incredible place to visit! Whether you are a first-time visitor or looking for something unique to do, this spot delivers a memorable experience from start to finish. The overall layout is fantastic and it feels very well-maintained. 🎫Ticket Price & Value: General admission tickets are [Insert Price Here, e.g., ₩15,000 / Free] per adult. Considering the quality of the experience, the depth of what there is to see, and how much time you can easily spend here, it offers excellent value for the money. 🏛️The Experience: The exhibits/displays are exceptionally well-curated and very engaging. Everything is clearly labeled, making it easy to navigate and appreciate the details without feeling rushed or overwhelmed. 🏡Atmosphere & Facilities: The atmosphere is wonderful—clean, modern, and spacious. There are plenty of great spots to take photos, and the overall environment feels very comfortable. Tip: I highly recommend booking your tickets in advance online if you want to skip the main ticket lines at the entrance. Budget at least 2 to 3 hours to fully explore everything at a relaxed pace!

Although it was in the middle of summer and the heat was nowhere near bearable for human beings, I loved it here! Super nice view and cool place that’s immersed in just the right amount of tradition and modernity. I didn’t go inside Gyeongbok Palace this time because there wasn’t much time so I just wandered around, enjoying the summer breeze. Would love to pay another visit some day!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gwanghwamun Gate is one of Seoul’s most iconic landmarks and a must-visit for anyone exploring the city. The majestic architecture and rich history make it an impressive sight, especially with the beautiful mountain backdrop. Don’t miss the changing of the Royal Guard ceremony—it offers a glimpse into Korea’s royal traditions and is perfect for photography. If you’re wearing a traditional Hanbok, the gate and the surrounding palace grounds make for some incredible pictures. A wonderful place to experience Korean heritage, admire the architecture, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Seoul.

Here is one of those places that gives you a strong first impression of Seoul. The gate itself is grand and beautifully detailed, but what I liked most was the contrast around it — modern city traffic in front, and the historic entrance to Gyeongbokgung Palace behind it. It is an easy stop if you are visiting Gyeongbokgung Palace or walking around Gwanghwamun Square. You do not need a long time just for the gate, but it is definitely worth pausing here for photos and to take in the atmosphere. Try to come in the morning or late afternoon if you want softer light. Midday can be a bit harsh for photos, and it can get crowded, but the view is still very memorable.

We went to observe the changing of the guards. It was a very educational and moving ceremony. Get there early to secure a spot up close.
