This place is famous for raw beef, no doubt about it. But if you ask me if it's delicious, it feels a bit weird. The beef is cut too small, so I can't really feel its sweetness, but overall it’s okay. The live octopus is fresh and chewy, too much chewing makes me tired. Kimkimbap dish is also quite okay. But the soup here is super delicious. Literally the best thing in this restaurant.

You can book a queue here and walk around the market while you wait. It took less than 30 minutes to get a table. Minimum 1 dish per person I ordered the Yukhoe Bibimbap (raw beef bibimbap) and try the Sannakji Tangtangi (live octopus) served with sesame oil and salt. The beef was high quality and tasted amazing

Famous raw beef and octopus shop in the market. Got the queue and wait around 1 hour during weekdays afternoon. Food is very good and fresh. Portion are quite big so can order to share. All their soup, seaweed and chili can be refilled. Some Korea people also come here to eat.

Came here to try the famous yukhoe and it didn’t disappoint. It was really fresh, tender and nicely seasoned, and even better mixed with the egg yolk. We also gave the live octopus a try. I’m glad we experienced it once, but seeing it still wriggling on the plate was honestly a bit much for me! My wife tried a piece and one of the suckers latched onto her tongue, which completely freaked her out. Definitely not for everyone, but that’s just our personal preference—the quality itself was very good. Overall, a delicious and very memorable Korean food experience. Worth trying if you’re feeling adventurous!

Buchon Yukhoe is a must-visit for anyone looking for an incredible and authentic raw beef experience. The quality is undeniable, especially the raw beef and octopus combo, where the octopus is so fresh it’s still moving vigorously, yet carefully prepared in smaller pieces for safe eating. We also highly recommend the raw beef bibimbap, which serves as a perfect base; a great tip is to mix any remaining bits of the beef and octopus combo into the rice for an extra flavor boost. Just keep in mind that there is a strict one-item-per-person order policy, but it’s well worth it considering the unlimited refills on their delicious seaweed, soup, and kimchi.
