Not a pleasant experience. Ordered a few dishes, but most were mediocre at best. Some of the meats arrived still frozen and stuck together. Interestingly, the side dishes were more appealing than the mains. The short rib soup was decent, which barely saved the meal from being a complete disaster.

The lunch special set was decent. Expensive but worth trying at least once, if you want an authentic Korean cuisine experience. Beautifully plated. Nothing was bad, nothing was mind-blowing. You come out mildly content. As someone who loves spicy food, I found the Yukgaejang (beef stew) too bland and watery for my liking. It didn’t have many ingredients or spice in it unlike regular Yukgaejangs. The highlight was the appetizers, the mungbean pancake and japchae was especially amazing. The atmosphere was meh, it feels cramped, you don’t feel like sitting there for long and take your time with your meal. Service was fine, they were polite and swift, but because they are busy it does seem like they’re rushing you a bit when clearing the plates.

Come early, or you'll have to wait for awhile! The meat was so tender that it came right off the bone. I think I ate half of it, along with my soup! The pancake was a delicious appetizer, they pan fried it to perfection.

Family friendly restaurant with a long history! It's on the Michelin guide too. Very easy for foreigners to order as there are around 4 or 5 pages of set menus you can order from. Food tastes good and you'll definitely be stuffed if you finish every course. Another pot of soup, rice or noodles come with every meal.

This place is opened in 1939. Their signature menus are grilled beefs called 'Traditional Galbi(전통갈비)'. It tastes sweet and nice(the sauce could taste similar to bulgogi). They also have several different grill, rice, noodle menus too. The price is quite high but you will fill worth to pay for it.
