I just was there for its views of the cultural village and views were great no need to visit the village itself after being on the terrace of this cafe.

We came into the cafe to get a drink and to use the toilet. When we wanted to go into the toilet, the staff raised her voice at us with the implied meaning to not use the toilet. We told them that we are intending to order a drink, hence we would like to use the toilet. The staff rudely tell us to pay first then use the toilet. Granted that is the policy, they could have done it in a friendlier manner. C’Mon you’re operating a F&B business where probably 90% of your business comes from tourists. Such an unkind business run by unkind people.

If you want to experience the full landscape of Gamcheon Village, this cafe is the best spot. The video below shows the view from the outdoor area. I recommend choosing the indoor area and only going outside for photos or videos. Price wise, it's considered affordable for cafe in tourist area with best view. Please keep in mind that it's mandatory to order 1 drink per person.

Not a friendly place. The person behind the counter just stood there biting his finger nails and couldn’t be bothered to greet you. The entrance is nothing but a garbage dump just like the inside. Dirt, dust and grime everywhere. Floors are sticky….gross

If you’re not planning on trekking up and down hills, this spot is pretty much the perfect place to soak in a cracking view. Even on a summer day over 30°C, the outdoor terrace felt plenty cool. To the right you get a cheeky ocean view, and the spacious terrace is ace for checking out the colourful houses. The lemonade hits the sweet spot and is properly refreshing. Tip: Forget about warm hospitality and nice smell toilet – they’re not part of the deal.
