There are so many identical ones and this is the closest I can find! The signboard not exactly the same but pricing is the only one that is selling at 2000 and 3000krw! Both my Queen and I agreed that this is the best hotteok we had through our 7D6N, from Seoul and Busan. Must get the sunflower seed! Crispy outside with chewy on the middle and crunchy inside!

There are 2 hotteok stands side by side each other. This one claims to be the original one with the RED sign board. The other has YELLOW board. We bought from both shops to compare! I preferred red sign board while my partner preferred yellow, so maybe it all comes down to preference. Either way, the seed flavour is amazing because it’s unique to Busan and is a must try! 2500 won only as of July 2026.

I visited BIFF square in Busan last Sunday. I saw the word 'Originator' on the signboard, so I stopped by the hotteok shop and got two seed hotteoks to go. They were hot and stuffed with crushed and sweeted nuts and sunflower seeds. I enjoyed its taste but I was full even if one. The price of hotteok was 2,000 Korean won.

Interesting to watch the 2 hotteok stands each with it's own ajuma competing for the customers. The one we went is said to be the original one. She even showed me the written claims on being the original version. The hotteok with seeds is the famous and popular one and was pretty tasty for sure. W2000 each.

I like their seeds hoddeok. It tastes so good but busy. They have a queue and need to wait.
