One of the most enjoyable experiences in Busan! The ride along the coastline is beautiful, with amazing sea views almost the entire way. The train itself is cute and makes the whole experience feel even more special. A great way to slow down, enjoy the scenery, and see another side of Busan. Definitely worth adding to your itinerary, especially if you’re visiting the Haeundae area. Tip: Book your tickets in advance, especially on weekends!

Very busy attraction, especially during peak travel seasons. There are several small snack shops in the area, though many felt overpriced. The station has bathrooms available, and the area is well staffed. For the most part, the staff do a good job managing the crowds and organizing the lines. The popular Sky Capsules (the small private cars) are often sold out weeks in advance, so plan ahead if that’s what you want to experience. We ended up taking the standard train ride instead. It was okay and provided a comfortable, air-conditioned way to travel between points, but I didn’t find it particularly special. The coastal and sky views were nice, but beyond that, there wasn’t a lot to see or do. Overall, it felt like a lot of hype for what was ultimately a fairly ordinary experience. Worth doing if you're already in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way just for the train ride.

This is the lovely final stop for the Sky Capsule ride coming all the way from Cheongsapo Station. Kitty and I arrived here after a very scenic and relaxing journey along the beautiful Busan coastline. The station itself is smaller and quieter compared to Cheongsapo but it has its own special charm. It is clean well kept and designed in a simple coastal style that fits perfectly with the surrounding ocean views. The moment you step off the capsule you are greeted by fresh sea air and wonderful unobstructed views of the blue sea and rocky shoreline. There are plenty of spots to take photos and enjoy the gentle breeze. We found it very peaceful here and much less crowded than the starting station. It was a nice place to pause stretch our legs and take in the beauty of the sea before continuing our day. There are a few small convenience stalls and signs showing directions to nearby walking trails and local eateries. It is also very easy to find the return Sky Capsule or Beach Train service if you wish to go back. The staff we met were polite and helpful and the whole area felt safe and well maintained. We really enjoyed ending our ride here. It offers a calm and pleasant atmosphere and it connects easily to the nearby seaside village and famous Badamaru Abalone Porridge shop just a short walk away. If you visit Cheongsapo you must ride to Mipo Station as well. It completes the whole experience perfectly.

This is one of those attractions you should absolutely reserve in advance. Even on weekdays, it gets very crowded, and on weekends it can be difficult to even walk around comfortably. That said, it is still a must-visit destination in Busan, and I highly recommend it. When booking, you can choose between the Sky Capsule and the Beach Train. The Sky Capsule offers a more private experience and allows you to enjoy the ocean views from a much higher perspective than the train. It feels quieter, more scenic, and more romantic overall — though it is noticeably more expensive than the Beach Train. A few helpful details from my experience: For the Beach Train, a one-way ticket from Mipo to Songjeong costs around 10,000 KRW. There are also ticket options for two rides (round trip for an additional fee) and passes that allow multiple hop-on-hop-off rides. There are six stations along the route where you can stop and explore. However, if you purchase the one-way ticket, you cannot board the train again after getting off. You would need to buy a new ticket to continue your journey. At Mipo Station, there are separate boarding lines for first-time passengers and for those re-boarding with round-trip or multi-ride tickets. Re-boarding passengers can only enter after all first-time passengers have boarded. Because of this system, trains returning from Songjeong to Mipo can become quite crowded. On the way back, there may not be enough seats available, so some passengers have to stand until seats open up when others get off at intermediate stations. One thing I really appreciated was that all of the attractions and viewpoints around each station are free to enjoy, making the entire experience feel even more worthwhile. Beautiful coastal scenery, a relaxing atmosphere, and unforgettable ocean views — definitely one of the highlights of Busan.
