Very friendly staff, who kindly offered an English menu. Fairly comfortable atmosphere. The food was good and reasonably priced. My katsudon was excellent. One warning, though, my friend's omlette rice had meat in it which we might be a surprise if you are unfamiliar with the dish.
View on Google🔵 We came to Sugamo Jizo-dori Shotengai ( shopping street) upon the recommendation of a Youtube channel. 🟠 Even though they say Sugamo district is for the senior citizens or elderly people, however, I find the alleys to be full of life and shops there selling interesting & useful products. 💛I like this district alot. 🟫 While strolling & shopping around the Sugamo streets, we stumbled upon this quaint looking Yoshoku eatery. I saw they had croquette dishes, so my hubby and I ventured excitedly into the restaurant. 🟨 We had a most delightful meal. The crab (kani) and ebi (prawn) croquettes were scrumptious. 🔷️ The ambience was calm and peaceful, with different demographics of customers ranging from the middle-aged to the elderly. ✳️ I want to say the food was truly delicious, and if I were to return to Tokyo again in the near future, I would definitely come here to dine again. 🟣 The staff were also very affable, kind and polite. Thank you for the hospitality. 🙏🏻

View on GoogleThe Omurice was delicious, nostalgic and how it was supposed to be and excellent service from the young guy. Very good price as well. Highly recommended. I'll definitely coming back in the future.
View on GoogleThe downside is the toilet has no warm water in winter for washing hands.
