About a 5-minute walk from Komagome Station. Open late. About 7 counter seats and about 4-5 tables. Each seats 4, so you can relax. Ordered the yakitori course to start, and about 6 skewers came out. The grilling was spot on and tasty, but I don't know if it's the meat quality, it wasn't mind-blowingly delicious, though it was tasty. Payment is cash.
View on GoogleHad drinks at 焼き鳥慶. (about ¥3,000, cash only, 2025.6) First visit in a while. The yakitori is good, but the pickles are delicious too. ================================= Had drinks at 焼き鳥慶. (about ¥3,000円, cash only, 2024.11) Weekday evening, 1 customer before me. Ordered bottled beer and the 6-skewer chicken course. No choice between salt and sauce, sauce only. First came bonjiri, gizzard, and negima. Then skin, liver, and chicken wings. All juicy and delicious. And at around ¥200 per skewer, quite reasonable. I'd also like to try the liver sashimi and the nikomi stew that others recommend. The staff are pleasant and you can keep a bottle, so it seems good for everyday use.
View on GoogleI couldn't feel any particular dedication to the yakitori. It tasted good, but nothing more, nothing less. The wasabi on the toriwasa wasn't strong enough. Another thing that bothered me: smoking is allowed inside. Personally, that's a letdown.
View on GoogleI went to 3 yakitori places in Komagome this past week, and this one is by far the most delicious. Well, the other 2 were cheap places. I also went to a certain place said to be a local favorite, but it didn't impress me like it used to. It really hit me that if you want to eat something delicious, you shouldn't be stingy. That said, this place isn't especially expensive either. A little over 200 yen per skewer. The meat quality is good and juicy. The juices just overflow. The tsukune and chicken wings were delicious. Also, they have 'hatsumoto' separate from 'hatsu'. The impression is of a 'proper yakitori shop'.
View on GoogleOrdered liver sashimi, a yakitori assortment + a few individual skewers, and several draft beers. The liver sashimi had lots of green onions on top, which I personally really liked. The yakitori is around 200-something yen per skewer, the grilling was just right, and each skewer was set with either salt or sauce, so it was delicious😋
