Was not intentionally looking but had a great meal at this restaurant, Toriyoshi Shoten. The menu is quite extensive even though the main star of the restaurant is chicken. Bonus: they have an English menu which makes it easy for tourists and visitors. Really enjoyed the deep fried chicken with grated radish ponzu sauce and with secret salt. The fried chicken liver is really delicious and unique, 1st time trying liver cooked this way. Not to mention their fried chicken skin and potato salad which came with half an onsen egg. YUM!

Busy izakaya. Cheap highballs ¥250. Lots of chicken based dishes. Shiu Mai is large for ¥180 you get 3. The chicken skin with ponzu is pretty tasty if you ignore how bad it is for your health haha 😂. Another good dish is the tuna with kimchi and egg. You order at your table from a tablet, has English support

I had the Miso stir-fried chicken and cabbage set meal. It wasn't for my Western taste buds but it was nice keal. Every clean, polite. Decent.

- Food : Their filet chicken is really good, juicy and crispy. The special sauce taste good with fried chicken. - Price : I consider it affordable, 1 set 定食 with filet chicken, fried chicken, potato salad,... is 1078 yen (with tax) and it will fill you up till the next day. - Service : Very good. Staffs are friendly and they use keigo. Overall, very satisfied.

The perfect place to enjoy a quiet, quality meal at a good price.
