Coffee shop 【すぎ】, about a 3-minute walk from the south exit of Komagome Station on the JR Yamanote Line. From the exterior I thought, this looks like a retro coffee shop, so I went in full of curiosity. They have a lunch menu during the day, and this time I ordered 豚の生姜焼き定食. There were 3 big slices of pork laid out, drenched almost to overflowing in what might be the shop's special ginger dressing—or ginger sauce? It tasted delicious, and the ginger warmed my body right up. The accompanying vegetables (cabbage and lettuce) had mayonnaise on them, but I ate them with plenty of ginger sauce~.

No matter how many times I “Suggest an information correction,” they won't fix the address, marker, or website, so I went and took photos. The shop moved to B1F before 2023年3月. The basement entrance is the one closest to the station (on the left when facing the building). An Italian restaurant subsequently opened in its former 1F location. The website is not official and explicitly says it is an “unofficial support website.” It seems programmed to show today (the viewing date) as the last update, but it hasn't been updated in years. 喫茶アミ and Rio, also in Komagome, have sites in the same format. Although アミ moved and changed its hours, customers are being misled because of that site, and the owner says the unofficial site is a nuisance. On a certain 食べ●グ, it's even listed as “permanently closed.” Even if Google hasn't gone that far, isn't its failure to correct the information tantamount to obstructing business? (I'm not affiliated with the shop; I just want this handled properly.)

I ordered the ナポリタン and drink (iced tea) set. It was 900円, but the portion was generous and filling. The iced tea was also very delicious; they seem particular about coffee too. However, when I ordered iced tea, I wasn't asked whether I wanted it before or after the meal, and after the ナポリタン arrived, there was no sign of the iced tea coming… When I asked, “The iced tea…?”, they said they had planned to serve it after the meal… They hurriedly started making it, but I don't know whether they were annoyed or had some particular preference; it was put down so roughly it made a noise, almost without a word. They were friendly to the person who was there at the start—perhaps a regular?—but cold and unfriendly to us, which made me question their attitude in customer service. I'll never go again.

I used the all-you-can-drink & sing course in the evening. Although there were slightly more fried foods, there was also cured ham, cheese, pickles, and more, so it exceeded my expectations. The lemon sour was made with freshly squeezed fruit and was very delicious. Perhaps because it's primarily a bar, the karaoke volume seemed a little low.

Open until late at night. Closing time depends on the situation. I often went here for drinks as a second stop, but when I tried the food the other day, it was insanely good! The service doesn't feel exceptionally good, but they work at their own pace and don't come across unpleasantly. Next time I'd like to come earlier and have a proper meal. It's spacious, so it's recommended for groups too. Including the counter, it looks like it could hold around 25 people.
