Good food and ambience. Very nice Japanese hospitality too from the couple who runs the eatery. Highly recommended Yakiniku.

if i could give ten stars, i would!! we picked this place on a whim bc it was close to our hotel, but i was wary for two reasons: no english reviews, and the menu didn’t include pictures. with the help of a translator app, everything went well and the shop owners were so considerate of us. we left feeling taken care of and more than satisfied. on hospitality alone, 10/10!! also, you can’t go wrong on kalbi and short ribs so i definitely recommend them.

Came on a Friday night and got in without waiting in line. The meats in the photos plus 3 bowls of rice and 2 drinks came to about 9500 yen. It's a cozy, homey little yakiniku place near the station. About 2 tables and 5 counter seats, and it seems there are lots of regulars. With 2 tables and 1 counter seat taken, they were turning away new customers saying they were full — maybe a capacity issue — so it might be a good idea to reserve. You grill on an iron plate and there's no ventilation fan, so it gets pretty smoky inside. The kalbi was delicious~. The mino in the horumon-yaki was super crunchy and tasty too. The horumon-yaki comes with vegetables and the portion is pretty big, so watch out!

A yakiniku place near the station, but tucked into an alley. A cozy little shop run by a married couple. The kalbi here is delicious. I ordered premium tongue, premium harami, and premium kalbi, but I got seconds of the kalbi. The gomtang soup was also delicious. The proprietress gave us Korean nori on the house. It's tasty and comfortable, so I'll go again sometime.
