From the bustle of Ikebukuro, take the elevator up to the ５th floor and you’ll find this stylish space, completely removed from the noise. The interior, apparently inspired by the world of Sherlock Holmes, is stylish and clean. Still, even if you’re not a particular Holmes fan, you can simply enjoy it as a quality bar. All the drinks are delicious, but my first is always the シャーロキアンハイボール. Its lemon aroma and bitterness are truly exquisite—I never thought a highball could move me like this in my lifetime……. Many of the original cocktails are elaborate, and the extensive whisky selection is something to look forward to as well. The food is delicious too, and the katsu sandwich, limited to ６ servings a day, was outstanding. Next time I’d like to try the roast beef too……. Prices are generally on the high side, but considering the Ikebukuro location and the quality, I think they’re within an understandable range.

A bar that appears on the 5th floor of a rather old building. It doesn’t feel especially Holmes-like, but the sofa is comfortable and enveloping, so the distance from the next seat doesn’t bother you much. The atmosphere is calm, and you ring a bell to call the staff(*´ω｀*) The drinks were also delicious, and the little snack that was something like an obligatory appetizer? was properly prepared too. Recommended if you’re going to a bar by the east exit. The cover charge is 800円, and drinks average around 1200円 each. ※The photos look bright, but the bar is pleasantly dim inside.

I’d wanted to visit ever since seeing this place on Twitter, and finally went last week Stepping out of the elevator was like entering another world… 221B on the door, and inside there were a violin and a top hat…✨ The female bartender was so skilled I ended up having 3 drinks (it was fun One each of シャーロッキアンハイボール, the Irene Adler-inspired cocktail "The Woman", and a recommendation “The Woman“ was a beautiful purple cocktail, with sweetness, a floral aroma, the chill of sorbet, and a surprisingly pronounced alcohol flavor that was exactly like her… it was so pretty I almost felt bad drinking it The fish & chips!! They were so incredibly delicious I wanted to take a whole bucket home, so everyone try them!! The pecan chocolates I received through the Twitter campaign were also incredibly good I didn’t have the courage to drink 緋色の研究 alone, so next time I’ll bring someone

We went to this bar around 11 at night and were so lucky to get seats👍 The drinks were delicious, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was wonderful❤️

Once you step through the door, you enter another world illuminated by gentle lighting The calm interior and stylish furniture perfectly recreate an antique British feel, and the plush, stylish sofas that look as if Holmes might have sat on them are supremely comfortable. Of all the bars I’ve visited, this is definitely competing for 1st or 2nd place in comfort! None of the food has disappointed so far, and the wines and cocktails are all stylish, pretty, and delicious They seem to be temporarily closed due to coronavirus, but I’ll definitely come back once they reopen. Don’t let coronavirus beat you—I’m looking forward to visiting after you resume business!
