I would like to give this six stars so it's a shame I can only give it five. The food was fantastic, the kind of stuff you would expect in a high end restaurant. I ordered the swordfish and it came with a side of sashimi, rice, miso soup (which was an amazing combination of red miso and clams) as well as a couple of other sides. There was a short wait to be seated but that is to be expected given how good this place is and how few seats there are. The staff were polite and friendly and the atmosphere was great. There may be cheaper places to eat in Otsuka for lunch but nowhere as cheap for this sort of quality.

I think it's pretty good many natives will come at the lunch time. I have to wait for about 10minutes. The lady made order for me outside the izakaya. When I took seat the food was already in front of me. Fresh and delicate. You can ask for one more rice after eating up.

Delightful! We came in with our one year old, and even with a big comunication barrier we had smiles and wonderful exchanges. The food was super high quality and very affordable. So wonderful!!

On the last day of this Tokyo trip, we wandered around Otsuka Station and happened to spot this restaurant at the entrance to a little alley. About ten locals were queuing, and it felt like a very authentic little place. The handwritten lunch menu was posted outside. There were 5 set meals that day, including sashimi, curry, and fish. The restaurant is small and has few seats: only 4 counter seats and two tables. When your turn is getting close, the staff take your order first. They put the food on the table before seating you, then invite you in. You can eat as soon as you sit down, speeding up table turnover. We ordered a tuna set meal. The tuna sashimi was very fresh and flavorful. We also ordered a sashimi set meal, which was all very fresh, with moderate portions and low prices.
