Amazing yakitori; the chef takes it to a whole new level. The chicken broth noodles was out of this world. Nice drinks menu, and excellent service as well.
View on GoogleA place where you can enjoy a highly polished course that goes beyond the bounds of yakitori! A place where you can enjoy a highly polished course that goes beyond the bounds of yakitori! The skewers are of course delicious, but the à la carte dishes are of even higher quality, making the whole course very satisfying. The Nagoya Cochin thigh and dakimi burst with umami the more you chew. The liver from Fukushima's Date chicken has no gamey smell at all, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The heart has a pleasant springy bounce, and the umami that overflows with every bite is irresistible! The tsukune has sansho mixed in, its refreshing tingle making a nice accent, and I was impressed by how light it was to eat. The "Kata Mash" layers the aroma and umami of shoulder meat and mushroom perfectly — a skewer unique to this place. The shiitake vegetable skewer was thick too!! Grilling concentrates the umami, and it has a crisp texture too — you can feel the brilliance of the perfect grilling. Another draw is being able to enjoy a variety of drinks paired with the yakitori. There's seasonal sake too, and it paired perfectly. Everything was carefully done right up to the closing chicken soup — a highly satisfying course to the very end. I'd recommend it not only to yakitori lovers but also to anyone who wants to enjoy "the polish of a true course meal." Thank you for the meal♪
View on GoogleI had yakitori here. There are 11 seats at the counter. The interior has brown-toned tables, doors, and pillars, with white walls, ceiling, and chairs — a calm atmosphere. It's run by two people, a man and a woman who appear to be a married couple. The course I reserved in advance: "5-skewer course @4,620円 (tax incl.)" I had the following dishes and yakitori. ・Asparagus, strawberry, mascarpone, sesame ・Salad: the egg yolk & parmesan were delicious ・(Skewer) sasami: tender, plump, and juicy ・(Skewer) liver: sweet and tender! ・Special liver mousse pâté with honey → The liver mousse was sweet and generous, delicious. ・(Skewer) salt tsukune: packed with umami. The sansho was great. ・(Skewer) thigh: juicy ・(Skewer) shoulder meat, Kujo negi: the negi goes really well ・Chicken soup: a rich, delicious soup Both the yakitori and the dishes had clear, easy-to-appreciate umami and were delicious. I especially liked the liver, salt tsukune, and liver mousse. I had the following sake. 1 gō for a flat 1,155円. ・月山 Junmai Ginjo (Shimane) ・永寶屋 Karakuchi Junmai (Fukushima) ・甲子 Apple Junmai Ginjo (Chiba) All were delicious sake, and I was grateful to be able to have them for just over a thousand yen per gō. Wine by the glass was around 1,300〜1,500円. The female staff member served all the guests. The way she chatted cheerfully with the regulars left an impression. The total bill was 8K円. A yakitori place with delicious, reasonably priced yakitori and drinks, and friendly service. I could totally see why it's popular. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleA place where you can enjoy a highly polished yakitori course — not just the skewers but the à la carte dishes too! The Nagoya Cochin is rich in umami, and the Date chicken liver has no gamey smell and melts deliciously. Playful dishes like the enoki stem steak are also memorable, and the course is structured so you never get bored. You'll be thoroughly satisfied right through to the closing chicken paitan ramen. The sake lineup is good too — an easy pick for dates or business dinners!
View on GoogleThe best yakitori place Exquisite grilling that brings out the umami of the ingredients Crispy outside, juicy inside An impressive sake selection The closing tori soba is so delicious I'd happily have just that for lunch Reservations at regular hours are hard to get, but there are sometimes openings after 20:30, so that's the time to aim for
