I’m always interested in a spicy tantanmen (担々麺), and was even more interested in this place since it’s a soupless version. You can pick the level of the spiciness for both the chili flakes and Sichuan peppercorns. I went with the normal option for both and it was enough. The portion was sufficient and the after mixing and adding some vinegar and hot paste, it was delicious. Try a bite without adding anything first, then find your perfect mixture. It’s a small shop and you may have to wait, but the line moves fairly quickly. Fast and friendly service.

Not spicy for me but I love that shichuan spice which you can taste in their ramen without burning your tongue. The pork was so tender I will definitely be back for the soupless version. The place can probably only cater 10 people at a time so you might have to wait in line outside. Worth it though! 👌

If you’re in the mood for tantanmen, a spicy ramen, this place is delicious! They offer a soup version and a non-soup version. I went with the soup version with some extra toppings. Some of the best I’ve had.

the most unique soba i've had in tokyo! you can choose level of spicyness and numbness, i chose 2 for both but 1 would've been better for numbness (less). and i wish i could take photos and videos of the chef preparing the food. very clean place ans friendly staff.
