An independently owned soba shop less than 10 minutes from the station. It had a simple, rustic feel. The soba was firm and nicely chewy! The sesame sauce was soy-sauce-based, but still had a lovely sesame taste and aroma, delicious〜. And above all, the value! Soba of this quality for under 1000円 is amazing……I was completely satisfied〜

Our neighborhood soba shop. Their opening hours recently changed to start at 11:30. Even if you're first in and order right away, it probably takes about 10–20 minutes. Everything is reasonably priced and delicious, so we often use it for lunch. The large portions are truly generous, which our family of big eaters appreciates. The menu is extensive too, so we're always torn over what to eat. If you bring children, they provide children's cutlery and bowls. There are no tissues or wet wipes on the tables, so bringing your own is essential. They also don't accept cashless payments, only cash. They deliver nearby too, which is really helpful.

The soba shop 【利久庵】 is about a 7-minute walk from the north exit of Komagome Station on the JR Yamanote Line Found it while looking for a new soba shop to try around Komagome Station haha It looks like a neighborhood soba joint, the soba version of a local Chinese diner, so I went straight in for lunch! Besides soba and udon, there were plenty of rice bowl options, but this time I ordered a large oroshi soba and a separate mini curry don! The grated daikon and katsuobushi do a great job, and the soba has just the right chewiness and tastes great〜. The mini curry don has a slightly dashi-flavored curry, perhaps typical of a soba shop? That was delicious too〜. Of course, I finished by asking for sobayu〜. There are still lots of dishes I want to try, like kishimen and kamo nanban, so I'll be back〜.

Ordered the curry don set The curry don only had a thin layer of curry on top, and the curry tasted weak. The soba was average. 850円 seems expensive for this. It was disappointing. Maybe the tendon and katsudon sets my companions ordered were better.

I was the first customer at 11:50 on a weekday. I had tanuki soba. The dashi-rich broth went well with the soba and was delicious. The interior was clean and the service attentive. There are lots of solo diners.
