A small but interesting museum, especially for stamp and postcard lovers. The collection is unique, the atmosphere is peaceful, and it is a nice place to learn about the history of communication and philately in Japan.

The museum itself is quite small. Most of the space is taken up by the museum shop and the private shops which sell everything related to philately. At a very leisurely place you may take about two hrs at this place. There may be exhibits on the 3 floor sometimes. The entry fee for adults is 200 yen.

Unique museum of stamps and philatelic exhibits that is rare to see in the world. Rotating exhibits are well done with a lot of care. The stamp shops in the building are closed two days a week. Staff was helpful and the owner and assistant of Lotus Stamps were great with some good deals to be found there. There are displays of worldwide new issues on the main floor run by the staff as well as supplies but be warned that they are all highly overpriced. Didn’t like Mona Lisa stamps as the foreign owner was not friendly and his prices were too high compared to all other stamp shops I’ve seen in Tokyo.

Lovely place to find stamps for collection. There's a museum, 200 yen entrance, with lots of Japanese and international stamps. Second floor has a library. Both inside the museum and in the free area you can buy new and used stamps and post cards

It's low key but friendly with interesting displays, plenty of souvenirs, old and new, two old school stamp dealers and upstairs and impressive collection of medals and certificates from around the world
