Unagi! Super delicious! I was able to eat at a relaxed pace in the calm interior. Bus trips are my latest craze, so I used a Toei Bus 1-day pass to get to Otsuka Station and casually dropped in. Maybe because there were many reservations, it took quite a while for the unagi to be grilled, but it was fresh off the grill, piping hot and fluffy, and delicious. Next time I want to come for lunch too～ In front of the station, the small rose garden was in full bloom, and lots of people were taking commemorative photos with the tram.

I came for lunch on a public holiday. I booked on the same day but got a spot with no trouble. I ordered the unaju ume. It comes with osuimono, oshinko, and dessert for 4,400 yen. The eel was plump, and the sauce was not too sweet, not too strong, and it was very delicious. The interior was spacious and clean too. I’ll come again.

Lunch at Unagi Owada, right near Otsuka Station. I had the Owada Bento. It contains eel kabayaki, sashimi, simmered tarako, and dashimaki tamago. The kabayaki is very delicious.

A long-established eel restaurant in Otsuka. It feels a bit old, but it’s a quiet, calm place. We often use it for memorial services and family gatherings. The eel is always reliably delicious🤤 I’ll come again.
