Very supportive chef. Really good cooking. For eating alone and in silence it’s the best place to go

A meat udon shop, but it's not as hard and chewy as Musashino udon, and in terms of texture, it feels more like Sanuki udon. It's interesting that there are 2 flat noodles that are like between kishimen and himokawa. Because other people's reviews said the amount wasn't that much, I ordered a large portion, but I was able to finish it easily. The dipping soup is a bit thick and the broth flavor is felt, it's delicious because it clings to the noodles. The abundance of ingredients inside is highly rated. There are too many types of seasonings to change the taste, but while trying various things, I finished it in no time. The cleanliness inside the shop is not very good, so people who care about that might want to refrain.

「I really like this taste~」 This is a hybrid udon shop with a unique style that takes the best of the chewiness of Sanuki udon and the rich meat soup of Musashino udon, located about a 5-minute walk from the north exit of Ikebukuro Station. The owner of "Yoshoku wa Nomimono", which used to be a Western-style restaurant, reopened it on June 19, 2022, because of his love for udon. There are 5 levels of noodle amount, you can choose up to "Nomimori" which weighs 1kg after boiling. The main menu is dipping udon, starting from "Nikujiru Udon", "Torijiru Udon", "Black Curry Nikujiru Udon", "Kara-tamago Nikujiru Udon", etc. And the udon here has a delicious broth. The seasonings on the table are also quite an accent, and can be enjoyed deliciously. I always finish the soup. Personally, I think this is the No. 1 udon shop in Ikebukuro. Thank you for the meal.

If you want to eat a large portion of udon in Ikebukuro, this is the place! I ate a large portion of nikujiru udon, I was overwhelmed by the abundance of ingredients and the presence of the noodles. Noodle chewiness: Very thick and chewy, an irresistible texture. The wide noodles on top are also unique. Soup with many ingredients: Of course pork, eggplant and green onions are also abundant, the sweetness of the vegetables melts into the soup. Surprising taste change: There are 10 types of seasonings on the counter, you can enjoy while changing the taste little by little with "niboshi vinegar" or "seasoned fish flour". It's fun to find your own favorite taste with "basil ginger" on the table, I was able to finish the large portion quickly. When I come to Ikebukuro, I will stop by again!

Black Curry Nikujiru Udon Nomimori, Extra meat, Flavored egg, Chikuwa tempura. Total 1,850 yen. Nomimori is 1 kg after boiling. The noodles are delicious. The wide noodles like Ittan-momen are especially delicious✨. The curry dipping soup is sweet and easy to eat. The meat is abundant and very satisfying. There is eggplant in the dipping soup but it turns out to be a great match😊. The chikuwa tempura is freshly fried so I'm happy😊. The one-person operation by the waitress is amazing✨. I will visit again!
