A tradition Japanese family style restaurant, a bit like those in the Japanese drama. The food are great. Can choose the chef recommendation if you have no idea to order. People sitting around are very nice too.

I had the sashimi platter lunch set. Slices of fish of average quality, thin slices of fish/clam, given a few pieces that were not whole slices but looked like remnants/leftovers of whole slices, there is a significant difference in quality of the sashimi Vs what is shown of the pictures outside the shop. I'm not sure if they serve foreigners a different quality intentionally. Though the price is reasonable for the lunch set, it's not worth going because of the quality based on my experience. At least the tea was strong and good!

Amazing friendly restaurant. Great food, lovely staff. A family and neighbourhood favourite. All the customers made us feel really welcome sharing drinks and talking to us. The staff speak good English and have an English menu so it's easy to order. One of our favourites in Japan, the sashimi is the best.
