A hidden gem found near Senkawa Station! A place to enjoy superb soba and sake at affordable prices! I visited 「蕎麦処・酒処 みはら庵」 near Senkawa Station. Honestly, its appearance made me hesitate for a moment at first, thinking, "Might it be a little hard to walk in…?", but once I stepped inside, it turned out to be absolutely the right choice! The prices were quite affordable too, and I found truly delicious soba and drinks. Irresistible for sake lovers! Outstanding snacks What impresses me here is how perfectly the food suits people who want to drink sake. What especially stayed with me was the 「いかの美味しいやつ(※メニュー名)」 I ordered as a snack. It was a type of dish I'd never eaten before, but it was truly delicious…! It's refreshing and makes sake and beer go down surprisingly easily. An outstanding dish I really want you to order if you visit. The ankimo was also incredibly delicious Soba with exceptional aroma and smoothness The soba I had to finish was wonderfully aromatic and went down so smoothly that I polished it off. An izakaya with delicious soba is worth returning to for that alone. By the way, you can smoke near the entrance, so smokers needn't worry either. 💡This place is perfect for people who: Want delicious, good-value soba near Senkawa Station Want to enjoy perfect pairings of sake and snacks Want to discover places with a hidden-away atmosphere It might take a little courage to go in at first, but satisfaction far beyond that awaits. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting a slightly special evening with delicious sake and soba!
View on GoogleAt a soba shop near my workplace, I had ten-seiro made with 100% buckwheat soba and a mini katsudon. The soba was aromatic, had a firm bite, and was very delicious. I enjoyed the distinctive flavor of 100% buckwheat soba. The tempura wasn't quite to my taste, but overall everything seemed carefully prepared, and the shop's atmosphere was calm too. The mini katsudon was gently seasoned and balanced nicely with the soba. I'd like to visit again when I want to enjoy delicious soba at a leisurely lunch.
View on GoogleIt was a delicious soba shop. There were lots of sake varieties too, so if I get a chance to come in the evening next time, I'd like to try it. There were plenty of snacks too, so I recommend it.
View on GoogleI'd been curious after watching アド街 the other day, so this was my first visit. There's a small comedy theater nearby, and when I visited, there were also some groups whose vibe made me think they were probably comedians too... This is an excellent place that serves lunch even on Sundays. There's a Seven-Eleven on the 1st floor, and you have to climb the stairs to the 2nd floor for みはら庵, so you can't see inside and I felt a little nervous, but I'm glad I worked up the courage. My first thought on looking at the menu was... cheap! Many people were ordering it, and I chose katsudon (580円 before tax), while my wife chose kamo seiro (680円). It had been introduced as a place where now-famous comedians ate while they were starting out, and I understood why. It's cheap, delicious, and generous in portion size. The katsudon was freshly fried and crisp, and the slightly sweet sauce went well with it. It's nice that miso soup comes with it too. I tried a bite of the kamo seiro as well, and the aroma of the 100% buckwheat soba paired perfectly with the rich, yuzu-scented dipping sauce. I'll definitely return. There were lots of sake and shochu varieties too, and since the owner likes drinking, it makes sense that it offers good value. There was a wide variety of sashimi too!
View on GoogleSo cheap it hardly feels like Tokyo! The food is delicious too, a great find where you can eat with confidence! I went in before 21 on a weekday, and it was quiet, so I was seated right away. The rice dishes had already sold out before 21, but I ordered ten-seiro, kamo tsukune, and bottled beer. After a while, 100% buckwheat soba arrived with an amount of tempura hard to believe for 880円 (before tax). The soba was properly aromatic and a little short but delicious, and the tempura tasted good even without adding anything. The kamo tsukune was richly flavored and very delicious too. At a chain or an ordinary Tokyo restaurant, this might cost 3000円 per person, but here it was an incredible 2000円 for two. Honestly, this place is a great find. If you want a fun evening drinking in Senkawa, definitely come here!
