Simple French toast 🍞😙 800 for French toast made with danish bread Been here before corona times so prices have increased a bit 😗 The simple thin French toast comes with whip cream and you can choose honey, chocolate, or caramel sauce. I choose honey but I’ll be back try the others ones. You can enjoy without the sauce to be honest Cash only People don’t go in much so seats available even on weekend

This is hands down the BEST egg salad sandwich I have ever eaten in Japan. Many of the egg salad sandwiches that I have had in Japan have a sweetness to them that I do not enjoy. The Mermaid Cafe egg salad is a wonderful, savory egg salad with big chunks of hard boiled egg and delicious toasted danish bread. I also enjoyed the hot mixed berry brewed tea along with the sandwich and it was a nice snack enjoyed while sitting down to rest my feet!

Average coffee ☕️ it’s pretty much difficult to have a seat during peak hours and the food is just okay, nothing more

THIS IS NOT THE MERMAID CAFE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. Ordered a hot latte and french toast. The latte tasted like milk with a splash of coffee. French toast was just so so. The orange mango cocktail (without alcohol) was refreshing but a bit overpriced. Staff seemed impatient even though there were just 3 customers. We asked for a table and got no response. Everything is self serving without any guidance/ assistance. Overall I would not recommend this place as there are tons of better options in this area.
