Went here with my family during GW and there was just a short line. We waited for only 5 minutes and ordered 3 types: Salt, Soy Sauce, and Tsukemen. I liked the Salt base double meat ramen the best since I can customize the flavor with the delicious vinegar condiment and peppers. Of course the Chashu is the main attraction but I think just having the chashu men instead of double is enough. The noodles are also great, chewy and definitely hand made at the store (you can see them making it at the back). Overall A grade for me and will definitely come here again.
View on GoogleIncredible ramen. We got one bowl of the soy sauce ramen and one bowl of the salt ramen. Soy sauce was our favorite but both were delicious. The pork by itself would’ve made for a great meal—it was so smoky and tender. It’s a small restaurant with very kind staff who spoke English and walked us through the menu. We were the only tourists there. We got there about 10 minutes before it opened and were second in line.
View on GoogleOn an unseasonably cold day like today, this bowl of noodles was exactly what i needed. The cha-shiu pork slices were great, the soy-sauce broth was tasty, and the thicker than usual noodles were unique but good complements for the broth. Recommended!
View on GoogleTried Shio ramen for the first time! it was so delicious and i’d love to come visit here again! i’ll try soy sauce ramen for the next time!
View on GoogleSame location as the previous Michelin-star ramen place which moved out of Sugamo recently (so the seating # is still small as usual, max 7-8 people) Tried their basic 中華そば worth ¥850 (& separately ordered ¥150 cup of rice later on). Normal serving ramen size (although the enormous bowl makes it look big) with 2pc thick menma, 2pc meat (lovely flavor, not like the usual kind)& lots of negi. Adding the 辣油 & vinegar (condiments available at the table)adds a nice kick to the soup. The door is opened for ventilation so expect cold air to come in (I was sitting in front of the entrance but once I started eating the soup made me warm) All in all, not bad :)
