I visited on a Saturday at noon because a friend recommended it. It's always very crowded on weekends, so it's best to book in advance. The restaurant is nice and spacious, and now that it's warm, there are also outdoor tables. The service was good, without any problems. I'll start by saying that I'd never had Chicago-style pizza before, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I have to say that the menu for two we chose was good. I really enjoyed the fries, which were truly excellent. The pizza was good, perhaps a little salty for my taste, on the train ride home, I drank two bottles of water. Anyway, I recommend it, they have a wide variety of dishes and, most importantly, they specialize in draft beers.

Was surprised to find the Little Delirium Cafe while walking through Ikebukuro— I didn’t know one of my favorite beers had a restaurant. I ordered the Hot Chicago and a Delirium Tremens and started eating. Shortly after I started, the server came out with another pizza. Apparently I’d been given the wrong pie— a Chicago Classic— though I couldn’t tell the difference. The server promptly sorted the issue and, to my surprise, boxed the extra pie for me to take home— no extra charge! Absolute treat. Top marks to the staff. All that goodness aside, I did find the pizza cheese to be a bit runny when it came out. Best to let it stand for ten minutes or so before enjoying. Apart from that, a lovely little experience.

Delirium is such an amazing place to eat with friends and even alone. I ate their Chicaco dip dish pizza and it was soooo good. The Belgian chips are the best, it reminds mw to Belgian chips in Brussles. It was great. I recommend going in lunch time as they have lunch set menu. However if you’d like to enjoy their craft beer, evening is best. 😄

The food was great! We got pizza and gyoza and some very tasty cocktails. We don’t speak Japanese but the staff was still very friendly and welcoming, and they were able to speak/understand enough English to communicate. They also use a QR code to order so that made things easy. It’s in a very nice location in Ikebukuro close to lots of shops and hotels. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area.

We were the only table in the restaurant at 9pm, and what followed was the most disappointing dining experience we have had in Japan. On arrival, we were directed to order via QR code. As tourists without a local data plan, and with no Wi-Fi available in the restaurant, this was not possible. We therefore ordered in person with a male member of staff. We ordered the Chicago deep dish pizza and the frites. When the pizza arrived, the quality was genuinely poor - it was thin, the cheese slid entirely off the base when lifted, and it seemed undercooked. We asked for an update on the frites, as we wanted to eat together. He told us they would be a couple more minutes. After a further ten minutes with no update, I went to ask again, at which point he told us the frites were not available. It is clear he had not checked at any point during the wait, despite having twice confirmed the dish was being prepared. When I raised these concerns - noting that we were the only customers in the restaurant - his response was incredibly aggressive and dismissive. He repeatedly said ‘so what’ in a hostile tone. We have been travelling in Japan for a month and have not encountered anyone as rude as this during our entire stay. Given the quality of the pizza, we did not finish it. When it came to paying, we were then charged an additional ¥800 as a cover charge. When questioning this, the waiter got angry and aggressive again and as soon as we paid he told us to leave the restaurant in an rude manner. We came to Little Delirium looking forward to the evening, and it is deeply disappointing that the experience was so poor.
