It was my first time visiting, and it was great! My temples and the area around my eyes and neck were loosened up, and after the treatment, my eyes opened wide. Recommended for people who usually overuse their eyes, such as with smartphones and computers.
View on GoogleIt was so comfortable that I accidentally fell asleep during the treatment, and I had a very deep healing time. The staff was polite and kind, and the store was clean, so I felt at ease. I received a 30-minute treatment, and I was really surprised that my eyesight improved by 0.5! I definitely want to continue coming here in the future. Thank you again for next time.
View on GoogleThis was my first time visiting Eye Care Ikebukuro Lab for eye care. After a thorough eye exam, they used a low-frequency therapy device that you can find anywhere, applied it around my eyes for about 30 minutes, and as soon as the treatment ended, they immediately started a pushy sales pitch for plans, ranging from a 200,000 yen plan for 4 times a month, a 100,000 yen plan for 2 times a month, to a 58,000 yen plan for once a month, and other ticket plans. Even though I kept refusing, they wouldn't listen and unilaterally kept pushing. The content of what they do is just analog treatment combined with simple low-frequency stimulation, so I wonder if it's worth the usual 15,000 yen. First-time visitors should be aware that there is aggressive sales pitching, so you should be fully prepared before going. Basically, you can't escape, so I only recommend participating if you can firmly say no. Honestly, even at the campaign price of 4,980 yen, it's at a rip-off level, be careful! I've posted photos of the plan details, so please take a look.
View on GoogleAt first, I entered the store with skepticism. The teacher in charge carefully performed an eye measurement test and explained my current eye condition in an easy-to-understand way. Vision is the only one of the five senses that I don't want to lose, so I think everyone should take a little more care of their eyes. I have just finished my second treatment, and I can feel that my eyesight is definitely recovering and my floaters symptoms are getting better. If it weren't for this eye care, I think I would still be suffering from eye fatigue, declining eyesight, and floaters. Furthermore, the amazing thing about this eye care is that it has brilliantly removed the discomfort of the tension in my right shoulder that I have been suffering from for several months. They say they can handle not only eye fatigue but also neck and shoulder fatigue, so everyone, please try visiting at least once. I think a new world will open up for you. I have nothing but words of gratitude for the teacher at Eye Care Higashi-Ikebukuro.
View on GoogleBe careful if you are looking for relaxation. Strong doubts about customer service attitude. I received treatment today, 2026/03/20, from 3 PM. I visited for a head spa for eye strain care, but the solicitation after the treatment was extremely high-pressure and unpleasant. I am writing the facts so that those considering it can use it as a reference. [Suspicion of concealment of inconvenient facts (blocking reviews)] Despite actually visiting and paying 4,980 yen for the treatment, when I checked later, the store had manipulated the reservation as "cancelled". This has stripped me of my right to post reviews on Hot Pepper. I feel an extremely dishonest culture of trying to block unfavorable evaluations through system manipulation. Since I have proof of payment (4,980 yen receipt) in hand, I have already reported it to the secretariat. 1. Contradiction between price plans and explanations There were presentations of coupon tickets (4 times for 58,000 yen / 80,000 yen+ for non-plan), etc. Although the flip chart stated an "expiration date", I was told during the explanation that "there is no deadline", and when I asked, they dodged it by saying "it's just a guideline for visits". The sign on the wall saying "No admission fee on the day" is also faded, giving the impression that it is normalized. The admission fee is 33,000 yen and the administrative fee is 5,500 yen. 2. Anxiety-inducing displays and assertive phrasing Photos of cases such as glaucoma and cataracts are posted in the store, creating an anxiety-inducing performance. They press you assertively, saying "your body is your capital" and "you have to change now", but the staff said they do not have qualifications such as being a doctor. 3. Significant lack of customer service/remarks (abusive language) When I refused the contract, I was persistently questioned "why don't you want to receive it?". When I calmly pointed out "this is a sales pitch, right?", I received abusive language from the staff denying my personality, saying "You're so twisted!". In the end, they even spat out a parting shot mocking the customer, saying "I hope you find a good place (that suits you) in your life". 4. Low copyright awareness Multiple "CANVA" watermark logos (a sign that paid materials are being used without purchase) remained on the explanation flip charts, making me doubt the company's compliance awareness. 5. Reality of the treatment (no manual technique) Most of the "80-minute course" is testing and sales. I expected a head spa, but there was "no manual technique (massage) at all". The content is only low-frequency care where you put your bare calves on a sheet and electricity is passed through the staff's fingertips. I went looking for healing, but in reality, "high-pressure solicitation" is the main thing. It is a salon that treats you in a way that makes you doubt their humanity before even considering their technique. I will never go again.
