As Filipino businessmen traveling to Japan to the first time, we found the sandwiches and coffee here to be excellent. The flavor, texture, serving size and quality was very good. And we are a bit particular about our coffee. Waiting times aside, we’d definitely come here again next time for breakfast or merienda. Bring your translate app to converse with the polite servers. Menus have photos so you’ll make do without it.
View on GoogleA pleasant coffee shop that opens in the morning and would be perfect for you to start your day. It's located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, you get a number and pick what kind of table you want. My recommended menu is definitely their breakfast special (until 11am) where you pay for a cup of coffee (think it was around ¥600) and you can choose sides such as toast and jam or butter, very delicious red bean jam in my opinion. The strawbery jam is also good. Service was fast and efficient although there's only like one waiter, but that's Japanese efficiency for you.

View on GoogleClose to the station, very affordable, breakfast and providing all the basics you need to do some work (wifi access, sockets for devices charging). This Komeda is very popular and usually waiting times are at least 10 to 20 minutes. At peak hours, you can wait for longer than 30 minutes.
View on Google*menu ordered: 小豆小町 葵 アイス ¥640 ミニシロノワール ¥520 komeda is my go-to place when it comes to coffee chains. i think their coffee with azuki beans (both iced or hot) is just so unique; you can't find it anywhere else. they always give you these free nuts as a service every time you order a drink, and the taste is so addicting. i like their coffee float too. however, when it comes to the other menu, nothing too special in my opinion. it's one of those cafes where you feel comfortable staying for long periods of time. there are a lot of people working or studying, and the staff don't really pressure you to leave (unless the queue line is really crowded, for example near concert venues)
