mapo tofu was good! But it doesn't have a non-smoking area, so I probably won't come again.

It was not what I had expected..esp. Taste of soup... I won't visit anymore.

Every one must order the mapo-tofu!

The photo shows the lunchtime mapo fried rice. I went with high expectations because of the good reviews, but it didn't live up to them. The mapo tofu is only mildly spicy. It falls short of Chen Mapo Tofu in Akasaka in umami, heat, and depth of flavor. There was only 1 staff member at lunchtime, and because the interior is divided into ２ sections, it took ages for them to take our order. It's hard to call the service good.

I ordered the mapo fried rice set. I chose it because the mapo part looked delicious, but the fried rice was unexpectedly good and surprised me. It had that delicious aroma you get from stir-frying in a wok over high heat. The fried rice alone was worth the price. As for the main attraction, the mapo had a noticeable Sichuan pepper flavor, but wasn't too spicy and was easy to enjoy. The mapo tofu had little oil and a thick consistency. However, the unfriendly service bothered me a little. Also, although I don't think this always happens, there was no staff member at the entrance, so I had to call someone myself.
