Others say the gentleman is rude. I get why, but to me maybe just sad or anxious. It must not be easy owning a shop on this busy street for so many years. The sandwhich was very good. The iced coffee portion is huge. I prefer it’s more empty but it’s packed. I liked it so much I wondered back again the next day. If I’m ever back in Ikebukuro I’ll come back for sure.

What a really cozy place to have a cup of coffee and sweets. The owner recommended a coffee to me and it was very smooth. They also have seasonal sweets, that are not on the menu. The atmosphere is top notch. The owner has a good taste in music for sure. I can imagine myself being there for hours reading or working.

A very atmospheric old house café. The whole store is decorated in a unified style, and you can immerse yourself in the Showa-era retro atmosphere. It seems to be a famous restaurant, but it was not crowded on weekdays. Next time I would like to come here for food.

Very nice taste of cheese cake. Very cozy & local quiet cafe 1person seat in 1st floor 2ppl seats on 2nd floor(too narrow for 4ppl) . . . . . . . . . . . I mean "cozy=small" And "quiet= almost silence" But i really really like the taste of that cheese cake.

Great coffee, beans from different origins. Don’t come here for full meals as they only offer drinks and cake.
