We were craving onigiri and this place more than met our expectations. The staff had mentioned that the onigiris were going to be pretty big and true enough, I let out a gasp when they arrived at our table. The メンチカツ was absolutely delicious… crispy and juicy. Highly recommended!

View on GoogleVisited around 13 on a day off and got in without queuing. The small 卵黄肉そぼろ, ネギトロ, and 鮭いくら pictured, plus 2 pieces of 唐揚げ, cost one thousand seven hundred yen. Apparently, the place is run by someone who trained at ぼんご. It is on the first floor of アパホテル, so you might not notice it while walking past. I was startled by the size of the onigiri at first, but they are loosely shaped, so I easily polished off 2. However, because they are so loosely formed, they fall apart as you eat. The most popular onigiri, 卵黄肉そぼろ, was delicious. The 唐揚げ was also super crispy, with a decent amount of meat and a nice size—a real winner. Personally, though, the staff's attitude bothered me a little. I wouldn't go so far as to call it bad... Also, apparently they don't accept cash, so keep that in mind.
View on GoogleIt is on floor 1 inside APAホテル near 駒込駅. After going to 旧古河庭園 to see the roses, I arrived after 13:00 and got in without waiting. The lunch menu includes 2 onigiri of your choice (you can choose the size), 1 side dish of your choice, miso soup, a small side dish, and a bite-sized dessert (抹茶わらび餅). Even the small onigiri were big, loosely shaped, and packed with filling!! The nori was fragrant too, and everything was so delicious it made me happy!! The つくねと豆腐のハンバーグ was refreshing and delicious with ume sauce. Conversation with my friend flowed easily, and the atmosphere was comfortable.
View on GoogleI went in with high expectations because this place was getting attention, but it was awful and I regretted it. It was so bad that I'll list the points. 〇The climate control wasn't working when I entered, and I couldn't stay without wearing my coat. 〇After waiting about 30 minutes, I got a seat, but there was no menu. I also only learned that tea and water were self-service options by hearing the explanation given to the next customer. 〇It was so cold that I chose the provided warm tea, but it was cold. 〇I decided on my order and pressed the bell, but nobody came. They said, “Please wait a moment,” so I waited, but they still didn't come. I called out when a staff member passed near my seat, but again heard, “Please wait a moment.” Watching them, they were chatting away in front of the kitchen without doing anything. 〇It took about another 30 minutes for the food to arrive, so after waiting 1 hour in total, I finally had lunch… 〇As for the food itself, the onigiri had filling and were fine, but the 唐揚げ was far too salty. 〇The pickles and miso soup were salty too, and even water, my only escape, was self-service. I gave up on getting it because it meant squeezing past other customers near the cramped seats while wearing my coat. 〇After all that, the bill was about 200 yen higher than the menu price. When I asked, the staff said to choose 2 types of lunch onigiri at +100 yen. If the selected onigiri incur further surcharges, I want those accounted for and shown on the menu. 〇I was also surprised to see a woman in everyday clothes carrying the food… it seemed careless in terms of hygiene. …Do they consider this acceptable? I never want to go again, and I feel buying and eating onigiri from a convenience store would be more worthwhile.
