Would give this a 3.5 instead of 3 because prices are very cheap, especially if you pay the 200 yen to be a member and if you go earlier in the morning. Location/exterior is rather shady looking but bowling lanes are perfectly serviceable. The big downside in my opinion is that they allow smoking indoors, fortunately ventilation is good so it's not too terrible.

Excellent bowling alley. It's wonderful. The best point is you can bring your own beer and food just as long as the beer is not in a bottle. Also it is small just right. Close to station. Has but tables for sitting down. The only downside is that sometime there is a waiting list for 90 minutes or more

They have the worst staff here. It is pretty obvious that they have not been trained cuz they do not even use 敬語. The staff is extremely rude and he talked to me in such a loud voice which looks like he is giving orders to the customers. People here in Japan are really nice and I was never treated like this, but I came here to have fun and it turned out to be a disaster. I wouldn’t say this is a bad place to play bowling but I would say something is not right if they have staff like that. There are so many bowling places around Ikebukuro, why not choose a better one?

Super cheap bowling alley from the early nineties. They don’t really have food, only a few soda vending machines. Also a few video games. We went Sunday evening around 7 pm and it was about ¥1500 for two games including shoes. I think it’s ¥150 during the weekdays at a certain time.

Okay, I have no idea how good this place is as a bowling alley, BUT it is the only place I've found in Tokyo where you can play beatmania IIDX ALL NIGHT. Also, they have Densha de GO and a Taiko no Tatsujin-themed purikura booth that you can check out in between rounds of IIDX. Amazing.
