Calm, quiet and nice place. Coffee and cake are available and so good. PC is prohibited but its tiny shop, so simply enjoy foods and drink, not digital device or business.
View on GoogleA meditative spot for an afternoon coffee.
View on GoogleNot a chain so that's a great start. Really relaxed atmosphere and good for a long visit
View on GoogleA few minutes' walk from Komagome Station. A coffee specialty shop open only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. I had plenty of time before my evening plans, so I got off at Komagome and stopped by. About 5 tables. There is an in-house coffee roaster inside. Is the background music Czech? I don't know much about music. (≧∀≦) The menu consists only of a few coffees and muffins. The shop's name, 百塔, comes from Prague, the city of a hundred towers. You can feel the Czech influence everywhere inside. Prague in the Czech Republic flourished as the capital of the Holy Roman Empire from the 14th century, when Charles 4 was emperor. Apparently Prague has so many towers that it is nicknamed “the city of a hundred towers,” and it is now listed as a World Heritage Site. 🟨百塔ブレンド (700円 including tax) They grind the beans for each order. It's hand-dripped. The flavor has just the right bitterness, with a little acidity lingering afterward. A space where you can spend time quietly.
View on GoogleOpening hours vary by month, so please check the website or similar sources. The entrance is the red-brick staircase slightly right of the middle of the building. A Beethoven sonata. Posters and books about the Palestine issue throughout the shop. ・百塔ブレンド A white cup set with plants and flowers painted in blue. The split shape of the handle is interesting. A fruity aroma. A faint fermented aroma. Very soft on the palate. Smooth. Low acidity. Berries. Perhaps some citrus mixed in. A faint fermented quality. Honey-like sweetness. An impressive smoky finish. Delicious.
