I really enjoyed the alio aglio; it was a well-cooked pasta dish! The pasta itself was perfectly al dente 🍝, though I wished the olive oil had a bit more fragrance. Still, a solid choice! 👍😊

Located about a 3-minute walk from Sugamo Station, it's easy to get to. I found it convenient to drop by between shopping or errands. The interior is rather compact and may feel a bit cramped. That said, turnover seemed relatively quick. Self-service water is fine, but I was bothered that the glass I used still had what looked like bits of food stuck to it. If this were improved, I think people could use the place with more peace of mind. On the other hand, the pasta was consistently good, just like at other branches, and I enjoyed it. Overall, the location and taste are good, but the small hygiene details are a bit of a letdown.

Visited 洋麺屋五右衛門, which you usually find in front of stations. It's a little pricey, but their specialty is Japanese-style spaghetti, and I crave it every now and then. This time I ordered a large bacon and mushroom Japanese-style spaghetti (1,180円)🍝 I like the very Japanese style of eating it with chopsticks, and more than half the customers are women. The interior is nice too, and easy to walk into on your own.

A pasta restaurant on the 1st floor of (Morikawa Daini Building), Sugamo, Toshima-ku, Tokyo. It's a nationwide chain operated and developed by Nippon Restaurant System, Inc., headquartered in Shibuya-ku, also in Tokyo. I think Goemon's meat sauce is the most delicious. Thanks for the meal.

I've been a regular since my student days lol ■What I ordered ・Mentaiko and Karashi Takana Hakata-style (large) + with Japanese-style salad → There are so many kinds of pasta I agonized over it, but this time I ordered the Mentaiko and Karashi Takana Hakata-style with mentaiko, takana, shirasu, bacon and more! Tons of mentaiko and takana, and when you mix in the raw egg it gets mellow and sooo good~. The pasta was piping hot, the aroma and flavor really whet my appetite and I wolfed it down in one go lol They go to Italy to buy ingredients directly, of course the spaghetti and olive oil are all Italian, and the tableware is even Arita ware — they're really particular about everything lol The soup was tasty too~ lol I polished off the Japanese-style salad in no time too. I don't get many chances to eat pasta, but they have a wide variety: Japanese-style, Western-style, seasonal limited menus and more. The location right in front of Sugamo Station is super convenient, so I reckon you can enjoy it casually whether you're alone or in a group!
