Hello. I looked where i could get some akashiyaki in Tokyo and i got this restaurant in Sugamo area. I was delighted. Found other interesting shops in Sugamo
View on GoogleTakeout only so far, but I’ll be back! Tried the takoyaki Osaka style, soft in the middle, very tasty. Friendly guy making the balls, good service. They have a counter, just a couple tables too, looks really fine to stop in for a beer as well.
View on GoogleOn my way for a walk, I ate takoyaki at a shopping street in Sugamo! I thought, "If they sell Akashiyaki, surely they must be the best? I tried to buy it, but it was not so good 😅. It's very thick, but it's very wheat-like 💦. I want to taste the soup stock. I think there are not many takoyaki stores in Kanto area...

View on GoogleI was here on my last night in Japan and I really loved it. The owner treated me very well despite being a tourist and the service was very good. The food was great and so was the background music. Highly recommended!
