I always order the beef tendon udon, which has a delicious soup with a strong dashi stock flavor.

The staff in the restaurant were extremely rude, which is very rare in Japan. Whether it was placing water cups or serving food, they did it with such force that it felt like they were throwing things. We don’t even know them—why were they so aggressive? I can’t help but wonder: why am I spending money just to be treated like this? It was both deeply disappointing and unsettling.

Typical classic izakaya where I was treated very well as a foreigner, but you will need the basics of Japanese to be able to communicate with them, as the letter is written entirely in kanji. Otherwise, very friendly and very good food.
