A French-leaning restaurant situated “between” various stations, producers, and guests. Here at Fra, in a corner of 池袋, we use many ingredients from 埼玉県, not far from 要町 and 椎名町 by train or car, so that whichever dish you choose, you can enjoy 埼玉. From vegetables to livestock products, alcoholic drinks, and game, 埼玉県 is actually rich in all sorts of ingredients. The waiter explained the provenance of each of the main ingredients in the courses, the quality of the food was exceptional, thank you! Wonderful service, beautiful flavours and very good value for money. A perfect dining experience! The waiter also spoke English well
View on GoogleI went there for dinner. The owner was very nice and friendly and the whole vibe was great. The place is quite small though - one big family table, one table for 4 and one table for two. Plus a few seats at the counter. I told the owner I was vegan and they made special vegan pesto pasta, which was incredibly delicious. Also tried their mushrooms and beets salad (asked to omit mozzarella) and a nice wine. My meat eater friends got some pork roll dish and said it was great as well.

View on GoogleOne of “Hiden gems”, as I would prefer to say. A wonderful place with pricy food(2500-5000 per person), but if you wish to pay that much money you won’t regret it. Practically we had 2 positions of pasta and 1 course. There were 3 of us: we chose penne pasta (2000), spaghetti with seafood (1800) and 1 course with options. ( everything default, expect choice for penne pasta ). 1. Tea that is always being refilled 2. Cold soup in a cup of coffee size with crispy bread (slice of bread) 3. Salad mix 4. Pasta 5. + for course meat plate
