The place was really spacious and cozy. Liked the ambiance of the place. The window seats also have outlet plugs. They also have a separate area for those who smokes. We arrived near closing time so the place wasn't crowded. I got the Iced Black Latte (Large Size) & Raw Donut Bitter Chocolate. The Raw Donut was good but sadly I didn't like the drink. It was really bland. Would give the other food and drink a try next time.

Great place for laptops. Has power outlets and a smoking area. Too crowded during busy hours though, so check the graph

I visited E PRONTO's Toshima Ecomusee Town branch around 19:00 on a weekday. It's inside Toshima Ecomusee Town, right near Higashi-Ikebukuro Station. Rather than simply being near the station, it feels almost like casually using a facility within the complex. Even during the 19:00 hour on a weekday, it was easy to get in. I thought the location was very convenient when you're heading home from work or errands and want to “sit down and have something to drink” or “grab a light meal.” The interior was more spacious than I expected, with a reasonable amount of room between seats. Most seating was at tables, with both solo visitors and groups, but the atmosphere made neither feel out of place. It has a cafe feel, yet in the evening it's also easy to use for a meal. Seeing people who appeared to have finished work relaxing there left an impression. I think the best thing about this place is that it's simply “just right.” It's not so stylish that it makes you tense, and although it offers the reassurance of a chain, something about the location or layout makes it feel a little calmer. Cafes near stations tend to get noisy depending on the time, but I didn't feel much bustle here even on a weekday evening. The menu gives you the flexibility to stop at coffee or expand to light meals and desserts. You can come just for something sweet at night, and it also seems suitable when you want a light dinner. Places with this kind of “variety of choices” ultimately make it easy to come back. The staff moved smoothly, and it was nice that ordering and paying didn't feel cumbersome. Even when dropping in casually at a late hour, there's no strange awkwardness, and everything feels sufficiently well organized. The many choices around Ikebukuro can actually make it hard to decide “where to go,” but once you remember this place, it's very useful. 19:00 on a weekday, you want a little rest, but it's still too early to go home. This was a place that would readily come to mind at such a time. If you're nearby, do stop in.
