I come here every now and then. The thick gyoza wrappers and juicy filling are superb, to the point that I can't eat any other gyoza anymore. Besides regular pork, there are variations like cilantro or shrimp filling, and despite their size you can polish them off easily. Other than that, I like the century egg tofu, stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts, and so on. I've been coming here for years, but the menu is so big I still haven't worked my way through it. The seasoning is on the strong side and makes you eat lots of rice. Portions are a bit large, so light eaters may want to watch out. The sours are mixed strong too, so I think it's a great place.

My favorite machi-chuka in the Komagome area. While lining up at the super-popular Kobaya, I noticed there was a Chinese place further in, checked it out, and my gut said it looked pretty good. I was right. First, I really like the fried rice. And my top recommendation by far is the spring rolls. About 400 yen for 4. Substantial and very satisfying. At night they have a great lineup of set meals, and the draft beer is cheap too. A handy Chinese restaurant whether you want a little something to nibble on or a hearty set meal. Update: Unfortunately, it closed at the end of November. It seems there was a visa issue. Such a shame, since they were earnestly serving delicious food.

It's recently become a popular spot. It might feel a bit hard to walk into, but surprisingly it's packed with women; once you're in, it's a delicious Chinese restaurant. The dim sum, like the hand-pulled gyoza, oyaki, and pumpkin mochi, are wonderful. Greeted by a mom in gyaru-style clothes: the yunbairou set meal with shabu-shabu meat on lettuce 780 yen, hand-pulled gyoza that are super huge 550 yen, 2 pieces of paikō honey meat 850 yen. Curry ramen with half rice 760 yen.
