I'm always here for Pokémon cards. It's a valuable shop that holds BOX prize battles every week on weekdays! Everyone takes the BOX prize battles seriously so the level is high, which helps me tune up before tournaments ♪ Also, at card shops the tables are often narrow and cramped, making it hard to play, but at this shop you can play at spacious tables, which is nice. It's also helpful that they let you play before and after Pokéca without changing the fee. They have a wide variety of board games too, and I've played a few times before Pokéca — they're fun! Drinks are basically served with lids, so even if you knock one over you're safe lol
View on GoogleFree Wi-Fi available, and the shop is completely non-smoking. You can bring in food, but not drinks; you need to order those. It was listed on the official Pokéca website, but the downside is that you don't know whether an event will be held or not until the last minute. It's a board game cafe, so the main thing is board games. There are usage fees and such, so if you only know Pokéca you might be surprised. Being able to order drinks is something card shops don't have, so it was refreshing! Since it's not a card shop, there's none of that peculiar "mysterious smell." There were more board games than I could count. Boxes of Lorcana, MTG, and Pokéca were lying around, which gives a slightly cluttered impression, but it's no problem at all for playing.
View on GoogleI shared a table with people who seemed to be regulars and played several games. What bothered me was that when we were discussing which game to play, someone said "This game's out because the manager can't join (given the player count)." It made me feel like: at this shop, can you not play the game you want unless you factor the staff into the player count? There were several regulars who like heavy games and use lots of jargon, so it felt hard to get into for me. Also, it bothered me that the shop was much darker inside than the atmosphere on the website suggested.
View on GoogleIf you go alone, you'll need to share a table. But if you're unlucky, you won't find anyone to share with. Also, it says the staff will play games with you, but they're often playing with customers who arrived right at 1 o'clock. Still, they didn't charge me for the time until someone I could share with showed up, and there's wi-fi so you won't get bored. To sum up: alone, you have to wait for someone to share a table with, but you aren't charged — though you can't play board games, so you end up wasting time. But the number of board games is more than enough and the staff are friendly, so I gave it ☆4 (Sorry for the long post)
View on GoogleI played in the Pokémon Card Trainers League Anyone planning to play in Gym Battles or the Trainers League should not go here They charged me a table fee and the entry fee was 1100円; since I'd come all the way from far away, I reluctantly paid and joined, but two staff members took part and the tournament was held. I lost so I didn't get a single point, but if only one staff member had joined, two customers would have gotten points, so why did they do that? Why did the staff get points when they were playing for free? I spent my time and paid a lot of money to play, and honestly all I feel is anger It's such a garbage shop that I never want to go again (Addendum) There were some points that differ from the facts, so let me correct them: I never said a single word about not wanting to play if it was two, did I? If I'm paying 1100円, I think it's only natural to get at least the service of one drink. In the first place, if a shop in a customer-service business makes people feel this uncomfortable, I think nobody should go there.
