A long-established Western-style restaurant from Ikebukuro has opened in the depachika of the renovated Seibu Ikebukuro main store. I got dinner to go from this takeout-only shop. What I had was the Oriental Rice. The toppings and rice are packed separately; you set the egg yolk aside, heat them up, and then combine them. It's like an easy-to-eat sutadon with light garlic. It goes great with the egg yolk sauce too, and I polished it off in no time.

Seibu Ikebukuro has reopened after renovations, and this is a shop newly opened on the second basement floor. Seibu Ikebukuro is connected to Ikebukuro Station by an underground passage, so it's easy to shop even in bad weather and very convenient; during the construction I kept waiting and wondering when it would be done An Ikebukuro Western-style restaurant founded in Showa 44. I bought something called 豚からし焼肉 Rather than mustard (karashi), it was the black pepper that came through, and the meat was tender For a depachika, it may be good value. You can easily buy prepared dishes.

A shop where you can enjoy the taste of a famous Ikebukuro restaurant as a bento. I had the classic Oriental Rice, and it had magical seasoning that kept me gobbling it up. Recommended.

I had the signature Turkish Rice, and it was very delicious; I was totally satisfied ⭐︎ Among the prepared-food counters at Seibu Department Store, the prices are reasonable and it's good value. The male staff member carefully explained how to heat it up. He also handed over the item very politely, and I appreciated the sincere service. On top of delicious food, I hope a shop with this kind of thoughtfulness stays in business for a long time. Next time I definitely want to try the signature black curry!

Kitchen ABC, frequently featured in magazines and on TV, has now opened as a prepared-food shop in the B2F depachika of Seibu Ikebukuro! You can easily take out ABC's hugely popular Oriental Rice and black curry 🌟 My recommendation is the 〖Omu Curry〗: dry curry wrapped in egg, topped with black curry, and served with chicken karaage and fukujinzuke 🍛 The curry is delicious of course, but the dry curry inside has an addictive flavor only ABC can make! The karaage is delicious too, and the fukujinzuke on the side is that nostalgic fukujinzuke! The renovated Seibu depachika is clean, stylish, and has a nice atmosphere, and I'm happy I can quickly grab takeout on my way home from work.
