A very popular restaurant, be prepared to wait to get in. Each dish is prepared only upon order so it is not a place where you rush. I didn't know what to order so chose the lamb dumplings which were northern style with thick dough. Then saw a lot of people having a particular dish, pointed and ordered - learnt it is called tan tan men. Fiery and satisfying, I detected shanso and a lot of galangal, absolutely loved it. Staff was run off her feet but so helpful - she had some English and patiently explained how to eat the dish- which is mix well. She also taught me a few handy words. It was well worth the wait.

Paralyzed experience by Sichuan style!!! The atmosphere is always lovely that single customers at counter, party guys at the table. You should better to try out the 🌶️ signs on menu.

The tan-tan men was decent with a nice hint of sansho and spice. I tried the hiyashi tantan since it was a hot day, but it turned out very different from the photo—more like a… not so tasty rose-colored pasta dish than the cold spicy soupy bowl I expected. A little underwhelming overall. Came here out of curiosity after seeing it on TV, but not sure I’d return.

The Solitary Gourmet hit the nail on the head with this one. I’m always looking for spicy food, and the soupless dandan noodles delivered. I’ve really begun to enjoy soupless ramen, so this one hit the spot for me. After mixing, it almost looks like a napolitan pasta, as the sauce coats the noodles thickly, making sure each bite is enjoyable. It’s got some heat, so be careful. The winged gyoza were also tasty, and a must get. The space is small and a bit cluttered, but it adds to the charm. The service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend.

I really thought I would like the food here based on the reviews, but I was very disappointed with the soupless dandan noodles. The sesame flavor was too overpowering, making it hard to taste any other flavors. The tomato egg noodles were very bland, and the gyoza was a bit too oily, though it was the best-tasting dish out of everything we ordered. The waitress was very friendly and nice, but unfortunately, the food just wasn’t great.
